GBA Software Loading
--------------------
GBA software can now be loaded directly from the CycloDS Evolution
GUI. In order to do this, you must have either a CycloDS Mini/Micro
or an EZ3in1 cart inserted in slot 2. Currently, games that use
EEPROM or FLASH save types must be pre-patched using 3rd party
software such as GBATA. Automatic patching will be added in the
future. 1Mbit save types are not supported due to the differences
in slot 2 hardware (only certain devices can support 1Mbit saves).
SRAM is managed in a similar way to save files for regular NDS games.
The first time you run a game, a .sav file will be created in the
same directory as the ROM file. Each time you run a game, the contents
of its corresponding .sav file will be copied into slot 2 SRAM. In
order to backup the contents of SRAM to the .sav file, you must reboot
the NDS and load the CycloDS Evolution GUI, where the SRAM will be
backed up automatically. Its important to note that you should not
remove the slot 2 device from your NDS until after the SRAM has been
backed up, in order to avoid any potential data loss.
How to use homebrew soft reset
------------------------------
You need to copy the 'reset.mse' file into the 'CycloDS' directory
on your MicroSD card. This file must be present for the homebrew
reset to work. Copying this manually is a temporary measure, it will
be done automatically with the final release. Once you have done this,
you can reset out of most homebrew by pressing "A+B+X+Y+L+R"
simultaneously.
