Hallo habe einen VPS Linux und versuche über mein Outlook meine E-Mails vom Webserver abzurufen es kommt dann zu dieser fehlermeldung:

Fehler (0x800CCC92) beim Ausführen der Aufgabe "info@webspace-paradies.de - Nachrichten werden empfangen": "Ihre Anmeldung wurde vom Mailserver zurückgewiesen. Überprüfen Sie Ihren Benutzernamen und Ihr Kennwort in den Kontoeigenschaften (unter "E-Mail-Konten" im Menü "Extras"). Antwort des Servers: -ERR Plaintext authentication disabled."

Das senden und Empfangen über confixx läuft ohne Probleme wäre gut wenn mir einer von euch helfen könnte

a) Wie verbindest du dich zu deinem VPS-Server?

b) Was steht in den Logfiles vom Server?

c) Was ist an der Fehlermeldung dir nicht verständlich? Da steht doch genau was nicht funktioniert. Im Zweifelsfall mal über b) und a) nachdenken.

Also die Verbindung zum Server in outlook geschiet über:

Eingangserver: pop3.webspce-paradies.de (das ist denk ich mal standard)

Postausgangsserver: smtp.webspace-paradies.de

beide laufen auf den standard ports als user nehme ich die von confix vorgegeben nen web.... und dessen pw

hatte es auch schon soweit hinbekommen das er die server findet und sich auch auch versucht anzumelden aber dabei scheitert es leider mal wieder

Würde mich freuen wenn mir da evt jemand weiterhelfen könnte.

Das Problem ist folgendes und zwar wird postfix nicht mehr gestartet egal was ich bisher unternommen habe. Ich kriege auch beim start keine fehlermeldung sondern nur das das mail system down ist.

So hier nochmal .... Es gab keine Fehlermeldung somit konnte ich nicht wirklich ermitteln was der Fehler war.
