Warum hier einige rummeckern dass, die Serie aufhören soll versteh ich überhaupt nicht.
Es gab massig an positiven Stimmen für Brotherhood. Da freuen sich die Entwickler doch und möchten den Fans halt einen neuen Teil mitgeben.

Gamestop has posted an the Assassin’s Creed: Revelations Ultimate Bundle on its website for $99.99 on PS3 and Xbox 360. The PC version will run you $89.99 for PC, and it comes with Leonardo da Vinci’s flying machine replica, an Ezio action figure, and a short film which is animated. GameInformer reports that in-game bonuses include an extra single-player mission, an exclusive multiplayer character, and three weapon capacity upgrades.

Assassin’s Creed: Revelations Gets a Multiplayer Beta This Saturday

In preparation for the November 15th launch of Ubisoft's upcoming open-world stealth/action/swarthiness-simulator Assassin's Creed: Revelations, the publisher will be running a multiplayer beta for the game from September 3-11th. However, the beta is exclusive to Playstation Plus members as well as "select Playstation 3 Uplay members."

Multiplayer in the new title will be much the same as the surprisingly enjoyable cat-and-mouse of last year's Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, though with the expected number of new modes and maps. More information can be found at Ubisoft's official Revelations beta webpage.

Ubisoft sucht Stimme fürs Titellied

Für Revelations wird zum ersten Mal nicht Jesper Kyd den Soundtrack schreiben, sondern Lorne Balfe, einer der zahlreichen Komponisten, die für Hans Zimmers Remote Control-Studio arbeiten. Und noch etwas ist neu: Die Melodie des Titelthemas steht zwar schon - Zimmer und Balfe suchen allerdings noch eine begleitende Stimme. Und sie tun es nicht in den Katalogen renommierter Tonstudios, sondern in den Reihen der Serienfans. Genauer gesagt darf jeder mindestens 18-jährige Deutsche, Brite, Kanadier und US-Bürger einen Vorschlag einsenden, wie er das Thema begleiten würde. Die Stimme muss über UJAM aufgenommen werden, Nutzer mit Facebook-Anbindung können den Beiträgen daraufhin ihre Stimmen verleihen.

Auf der dazugehörigen Webseite gibt es neben weiteren Informationen auch die Instrumentalversion des Themas. Man kann sich außerdem sämtliche bisher eingegangenen Beiträge sowie die 20 derzeit am besten bewertetsten Einsendungen anhören. Wer unter die besten 20 kommt, bestimmen die Facebook-Stimmen - Zimmer, Balfe sowie der Music Supervisor des Spiels, Simon Landry, werden schließlich den endgültigen Gewinner bestimmen. Dieser erhält zusätzlich ein Preisgeld in Höhe von 1.000 Euro, aufgenommen wird die Stimme in einem Tonstudio in seiner Umgebung. Der Wettbewerb läuft bis zum Abend des 19. Septembers.

Ubisoft’s released the extended version of the Assassin’s Creed: Revelations trailer, the same trailer was shown at the E3 trailer for the game, but features a brand new voiceover for Ezio and 20 seconds worth of new footage at the end.

AC:R ohne Jesper Kyd? War das schon länger bekannt? Für mich hat er einen großen Teil der Atmosphäre des Spiels ausgemacht.

Jesper Kyd war gut, aber mir fehlte etwas der Wiedererkennungswert der Themes.

Keine Ahnung warum man gewechselt hat, aber was aus der "Hans Zimmer-Schmiede" kommt, kann auf keinem Fall schlecht sein.
