Hallo,

ich bin wirklich am Ende und hoffe mir kann jemand helfen:
Ich habe F-Secure Internet Security 2006 auf meinem Notebook installiert.
Die Software lief auch - leider hat sich mein WLAN partout nicht mehr eingebucht. Außerdem läuft der SVCHOST.EXE seit dem auf 99 % CPU Last.

Ich habe die Software deinstalliert. Irgendwann sagte er er sei fertig - trotzdem war die Software nach einem Neustart zum Teil noch da. Der SVCHOST läuft weiterhin auf 99 %. Die Software konnte nicht mehr über die UNINSTALL.EXE deinstalliert werden, im Software- Menü ist die Software nicht mehr.
Ich habe die Software jetzt noch einmal komplett neu installiert und deinstalliert.
Trotzdem läuft der SVCHOST.EXE nach wie vor auf 99 %.
Weiterhin meldet Windows mir, dass F-SECURE deaktiviert sei, was ein Sicherheitsriskio sei.
Außerdem gibt es im Taskmanager immer noch die Prozesse FSMB32.EXE sowie FSMA32.EXE.

Ich bin verzweifelt.
Hat jemand eine Ahnung wie ich das System wieder hinbekomme?
Erst einmal müsste F-Secure irgendwie restlos vom Notebook runter - dann müsste man schauen warum der SVCHost dauernd auf 99 % läuft - ich bin verzweifelt. :-(

Dadrum geht es ja gar nicht mehr.
Ich möchte wissen wie ich mein System wieder stabil bekomme und F-Secure restlos entfernen kann!

Wie deinstalliere ich F - Secure


How to remove F-Secure product completely?
Usually F-Secure Anti-Virus can be removed through Control Panel - add/remove programs. In case of problems, please follow the instructions below.

Removal instructions
1. Please select a tool below depending on the version of F-Secure Anti-Virus you're using.
Select correct product version

F-Secure Anti-Virus 5.x (older than 5.40)
F-Secure Anti-Virus 5.4x
2. Uninstall all F-Secure Anti-Virus products found in Control panel - add/remove programs. These include for example
F-Secure Anti-Virus
F-Secure BackWeb
F-Secure Management Agent
F-Secure Anti-Virus 2003/4
F-Secure Internet Security 2003/4
Note when removing these, remove F-Secure Management Agent as the last component.
3. Unzip the removal tool to an empty directory (e.g. c:\nuke)
4. Run autow32.exe from the directory where removal tool was unzipped
5. Reboot computer
6. Remove whole F-Secure directory by hand (by default it's C:\Program Files\F-Secure or similar)
7. Reinstall F-Secure products

Can't open the removal tool file?

If your computer doesn't have any program to handle zip files, you can download one for example from http://www.winzip.com/ddca.htm (WinZip is shareware product, free for evaluation).
Autow32.exe hangs (doesn't end automatically) - what to do?

We've had reports of this also. Usually it's because lack of removal of F-Secure products through Control Panel (step 2) or because there are some F-Secure components still running in memory. In these cases, reboot the computer and try running autow32.exe again.

If the error is 'cannot modify registry' and running on Windows NT4, 2000 or XP environment, you should also check permissions for registry keys (also to their subkeys)

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Data Fellows
and
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\F-Secure
This can be accomplished by running Windows registry editor (regedit.exe or regedt32.exe), right-clicking the registry key, selecting permissions and changing them to "full control" to everybody (or just SYSTEM+Administrators). You can check autoinst.ini (inside removal tool package) for all registry keys that are deleted. Notice that modifying registry manually and especially deleting wrong keys can cause your Windows to malfunction.
